Booking and fares
Every fare is fixed and shown by the online booker before payment. It depends on the exact pickup and drop-off, the vehicle class and the time of travel, which is why there is no printed price list.
On the day
Airport pickups are tracked against the live flight, train pickups against the train, and cruise pickups against the ship's arrival. The chauffeur's name and phone number reach you before the pickup.
Frequently asked questions
Is the fare really fixed?
Yes. The booker quotes one all-in fare for the trip and vehicle you choose, and that is what is charged. It does not change if traffic is heavy or the flight is late. Extra stops, extra waiting beyond the included time, or a change of destination are quoted before they happen.
How much waiting time is included?
After an international landing, 60 minutes from the actual arrival time; after a domestic landing, 30 minutes; for hotel, home, office and station pickups, 15 minutes from the booked time.
Where will the chauffeur meet me at the airport?
It depends on the airport. With name-board meet and greet, the chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall. Without it, the chauffeur messages you on landing with the pickup point used by licensed private vehicles at that terminal. Each airport transfer guide describes the local arrangement.
Who drives outside Toronto?
In Toronto, the GTA and southern Ontario, Onroutz.ca's own chauffeurs. Elsewhere, a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local partner, with vehicles no more than four model years old. The Toronto desk books, supports and invoices the trip.
Can I book a car by the hour?
Yes. Hourly bookings suit business days with several meetings, shopping days and evenings out. See the executive car service and personal driver pages.
Do you have vehicles for groups?
The Executive Sprinter carries up to twelve passengers with twelve bags. Mini-coaches and coaches of 20 to 56 seats are available on request for conferences and events. See vehicles.
How do I cancel?
Counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Major events may carry a different deadline, printed on the confirmation.
Do you book flights and hotels?
Our travel partner BookingWorldwide.net handles flights, hotels, resorts, activities and car rentals; see the travel desk. Onroutz.ca books the transfers at each end.
