A route planner that also sends the car

Most transfer websites start with the car. Onroutz.ca starts with the trip. Every page on this site is built around a real journey travellers search for every day: Toronto Pearson to downtown, Toronto to Niagara Falls, Newark to Manhattan, Orlando to the Port Canaveral cruise piers, Heathrow to Mayfair, Nice to Monaco, Haneda to Shinjuku, Cancun to Tulum. For each one we lay out every way to make the journey, from the express train to the metered taxi, with the distance, the usual drive time and the times of day when the road slows down. Then we say plainly when a private car is the better choice, and when it is not.

When it is, booking takes a minute. Enter the pickup and the drop-off in the booker at the top of this page, choose a vehicle, and the fixed all-in fare appears before anything is charged.

Onroutz.ca is a Toronto-based private transfer desk. It books door-to-door transfers from airports, cruise ports, train stations and hotels in Toronto and worldwide, with flight tracking, free waiting time after landing and a fixed fare shown before payment. Toronto trips use the Onroutz.ca fleet; abroad, vetted licensed local partners drive.

How a transfer with Onroutz.ca works

  1. Enter the trip. Any airport, terminal, pier, station, hotel or street address we serve, with the date and time. Add the flight or train number.
  2. Choose the vehicle by luggage first. An executive sedan carries up to three passengers with two large cases; a luxury SUV up to six with five or six cases; an Executive Sprinter up to twelve. The fare for each class is shown side by side.
  3. Confirm. The confirmation arrives at once. The chauffeur's name and phone number follow before the pickup.
  4. Land and walk out. We watch the flight, so an early or late landing moves the pickup with it. After an international landing the first 60 minutes of waiting are included, after a domestic landing 30.

Toronto: the home routes

Toronto is where Onroutz.ca is based and where its own fleet runs. The routes visitors book most begin at Toronto Pearson (YYZ), the country's busiest airport, about 27 km from the downtown core. The drive to the Financial District usually takes 30 to 50 minutes and can stretch past an hour in weekday rush hours. The Pearson to downtown Toronto guide compares it with the UP Express train to Union Station.

The longer favourite is Niagara Falls. Toronto to Niagara Falls is about 130 km on the QEW, normally an hour and a half to two hours, with Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries a short detour away. Arriving travellers can go straight there with a Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer, or make a day of it with a private Niagara Falls tour from Toronto.

Across the Greater Toronto Area, our airport limo pages cover Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Durham Region, each with its own pickup times to Pearson and Billy Bishop. For the city itself, see the limousine service in Toronto page and the Toronto hub.

Canada and the United States

Beyond Toronto, Onroutz.ca books transfers at every major Canadian airport, from Vancouver (YVR) and the drive to Whistler, to Calgary and the road to Banff, Montréal, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Halifax. Intercity drives such as Toronto to Montréal and Toronto to Ottawa suit business travellers who want to work on the way.

In the United States the guides follow the trips Canadians and international visitors take most: Newark to Manhattan, JFK to Manhattan, LAX to Disneyland, Orlando airport to Port Canaveral, Miami airport to the cruise port and the Las Vegas airport to the Strip. Trips inside the US are driven by US-licensed partners; trips that cross the border from Toronto run from Toronto. Start at the USA hub.

The Caribbean and Mexico

Winter belongs to the resort transfer. Landing in Cancun, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Los Cabos, Aruba or Puerto Vallarta, most travellers face a choice between a crowded shared shuttle and a taxi rank. A private transfer goes straight from the arrivals exit to the resort lobby, with room for the luggage and a child seat if you need one. See the Cancun airport transfer guide and the Caribbean and Mexico hub.

The UK and Europe

In Europe the guides cover the capital airports and the drives that connect them to where people actually stay: Heathrow to central London, Heathrow to Gatwick, Paris CDG, Nice to Monaco, Geneva to the Alpine ski resorts, Naples to Positano and the Amalfi Coast, Rome Fiumicino and the Civitavecchia cruise port. The Europe hub lists them all.

The Middle East and Asia-Pacific

For the Gulf, the pages cover Dubai airport transfers, the drive between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, meet and greet at Dubai airport, a car with driver in Dubai and the pilgrim routes between Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. In Asia-Pacific they cover Haneda to Tokyo, Narita, Kansai to Kyoto, Singapore Changi, Hong Kong, Seoul Incheon, Bangkok, Bali, Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Sydney and Melbourne. Browse the Middle East hub and the Asia-Pacific hub.

Ports, stations, private jets, hotels and events

Some transfers are defined by the place, not the city. The cruise transfer guides time pickups against embarkation windows. The train station guides cover Union Station, St Pancras, Gare de Lyon, Milan Centrale and Tokyo Station. Private aviation covers FBO pickups planeside or at the terminal door. Hotel transfers cover resort zones from the Las Vegas Strip to Miami Beach. Event transport covers trade shows, weddings, corporate events and race weekends such as the Singapore Grand Prix.

Why travellers, executives and public figures use one desk

A trip with three legs in two countries usually means three apps, three payment methods and three customer-service lines. With Onroutz.ca it is one booking, one confirmation and one invoice, with the same Toronto desk answering at any hour. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly. Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, alias names go on arrival boards on request, and NDAs are signed when asked. The guide to how VIPs and public figures book explains what that discretion looks like in practice.

Check your fixed fare

Frequently asked questions

How much does an airport transfer cost with Onroutz.ca?

There is no price list, because a fare depends on the exact pickup, drop-off, vehicle and time. Enter the trip in the online booker and it shows the fixed all-in fare for every vehicle class before you pay. The fare you see is the fare you are charged.

Do you only operate in Toronto?

No. Toronto, the GTA and southern Ontario are driven by the Onroutz.ca fleet. Everywhere else, from New York to Tokyo, a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local partner drives, while the Onroutz.ca desk in Toronto books, supports and invoices the trip.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Every airport pickup is tracked against the live flight. If the flight lands late, the chauffeur waits for the actual arrival. After an international landing the first 60 minutes of waiting are included; after a domestic landing, 30 minutes.

Can the chauffeur meet me inside the terminal?

Yes. Name-board meet and greet inside the arrivals hall can be added at booking. For privacy, the board can show an alias instead of your name.

Which vehicle should I book?

Choose by luggage first. A sedan suits up to three passengers with two large and two cabin bags; a luxury SUV up to six with five or six large bags; an Executive Sprinter up to twelve with twelve bags. Skis, golf bags and strollers count as large items.

Can I book several transfers in different countries on one booking?

Yes. Multi-leg itineraries, such as Pearson to your hotel, the hotel to a convention centre, and Heathrow to Mayfair a week later, can sit on one booking and one invoice. Send the itinerary through the contact page and the desk will confirm each leg.

What is your cancellation policy?

Counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Major events can carry a different deadline, printed on the confirmation.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes. Infant, toddler and booster seats are available on request when you book. Tell us the children's ages and we fit the right seat.
