An airport transfer to Disneyland Paris from Charles de Gaulle looks simple on a map: a straight run east of the capital, about 40 km (25 mi), with the park gates at the far end. In practice the choice matters more than the distance. A direct high-speed train takes minutes but only on its own timetable. The RER means a change in the middle of Paris with strollers and suitcases. A scheduled coach serves Disney hotels at set hours. A private car leaves when your bags are on the kerb and stops at your hotel entrance.

This page lays out every option from the arrivals hall to the resort, with real timings, so you can pick the one that fits your flight and your family. If a booked car is the right call, the booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay.

What is the best airport transfer from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris?

For most families the best airport transfer is a private car: about 40 km by the A104 and A4, usually 35 to 55 minutes, door to hotel with no change of vehicle. A solo traveller with light luggage can take the direct TGV from Terminal 2, which Disneyland Paris says takes under 12 minutes.

Both statements are true at once, which is why the honest answer depends on who is travelling. The TGV is the fastest way to reach the resort's own station, but it runs to a published timetable and is sold like a long-distance rail ticket, so a delayed flight can leave you holding a ticket for a train that has gone. The car has no timetable. It follows your flight, waits for you after landing, and can serve any hotel in the resort or the surrounding towns.

The rest of this guide gives the numbers behind that summary, then explains when each mode is the better call.

The route at a glance: CDG to Disneyland Paris by road

Charles de Gaulle (CDG) lies north-east of Paris in the Roissy area. Disneyland Paris is at Chessy, in Marne-la-Vallée, east of Paris. The road between them avoids central Paris entirely. A driver joins the A104, the ring road that curves round the eastern edge of the capital's suburbs, then follows the A4 east to the resort exits.

  • Distance: about 40 km / 25 mi, depending on which hotel or entrance is the drop-off.
  • Typical drive time: 35 to 55 minutes. Allow up to 70 minutes at the Friday evening and Sunday evening peaks, when the A4 fills with weekend traffic toward and from the Paris region.
  • Hardest hour: midday on the A4 on busy days can be slow, and the weekday morning rush affects the A104 near the airport. A driver who knows the sequence of junctions can choose between the A4 and a cut-through via Lagny-sur-Marne.
  • Tolls: there is nothing for you to pay or handle. Any tolls on the route are the partner's concern and are already inside the fixed fare.

A booked car is a point-to-point service. We do not send you to a shuttle bay and we do not pool you with strangers. The driver goes where your booking says.

Every way from CDG to Disneyland Paris compared

Here is how the options stack up for a typical arrival. Times are door to door from the arrivals hall and assume normal traffic.

Private transfer booked with Onroutz.ca35–55 min on the road, plus a short meet-upFixed fare via bookerExecutive Sprinter takes 12 bagsFamilies, groups, late arrivals, early departures

The fares in the second and third rows are set by the operators and change by season, so check them on the operators' own pages before you travel. Île-de-France Mobilités publishes the Paris Region airport ticket for the RER B; the 2026 notice on that page is the one to read, not an older blog. For the TGV, booking goes through SNCF Connect, and prices rise as the date approaches.

When the TGV is the better choice

We say it plainly: if you are one or two adults, you are travelling light, and the timetable lines up with your landing, the direct train is hard to beat for speed. Disneyland Paris states that the TGV from Charles de Gaulle reaches Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in under 12 minutes and that the station is a two-minute walk from the Disney parks, according to its guest information on train travel. The station sits at the park entrance, so you can start your first day almost immediately.

The catches are practical:

  • It is not a frequent service. Direct trains between the airport and Chessy are not like a metro that comes every few minutes. Check the day's timetable before you assume it fits.
  • It is bound to a ticket. Missed connections after a late flight mean a new ticket.
  • The station is not your hotel. Guests at Disney hotels can use the paid luggage drop that Disney runs at the station, but partner hotels and off-site hotels still need onward transport.
  • Strollers and car seats. You carry everything yourself on the platforms and escalators.

If those caveats do not apply to you, take the train and save yourself the planning. If one of them does, read on.

When a private car wins

A booked car makes sense on arrivals like these:

  • Three or more travellers. Once a family of four is counting tickets, bags and a stroller, the cost-per-person argument for the train weakens and the convenience argument for the car grows.
  • Young children. Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request at booking, which matters after a transatlantic overnight flight with a tired five-year-old.
  • Heavy luggage. An Executive Sedan takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large and 2 cabin bags. A Luxury SUV seats up to 6 with 5–6 large bags. An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 with 12 bags (see the fleet), which suits a multigenerational group or two families sharing a transfer.
  • Late arrivals. A flight that lands in the evening, then waits for bags, may miss the last convenient train or coach. The car does not run to a timetable.
  • Early-morning departures. A pickup from the hotel at 04:30 for a long-haul departure is one booking line rather than a puzzle of first trains.
  • Tight park days. If you want to be at the gates at opening, the shortest path from the plane to the hotel's front door is the one that gives you an hour back.

Reserve your car

Pickup at Charles de Gaulle: terminals, meeting point and waiting time

CDG has three terminals, and Paris Aéroport's access guide lists the TGV, the RER B and taxis as the ground options. The TGV station is inside Terminal 2, between Terminals 2C/2E and 2D/2F, while the RER B serves Terminal 2 and the Roissypôle station by Terminal 3. An automated shuttle, the CDGVAL, loops between Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and the Terminal 2 station. You do not need any of that with a booked car.

  • Where we meet you: the driver waits inside arrivals with a name board on request. We can put an alias on the board if you prefer privacy.
  • Flight tracking: every airport pickup is tracked, so a delayed or early flight adjusts the pickup without a phone call.
  • Free waiting time: 60 minutes after an international landing, which covers passport control and baggage claim on a busy morning at CDG. After a domestic arrival it is 30 minutes.
  • Which terminal: put your flight number in the booking and the pickup instructions confirm the terminal.

For deeper detail on the airport itself, including how the three terminals connect to Paris, see our Paris Charles de Gaulle airport transfer guide.

Where the car drops you

The resort is not one address. A booked car can serve:

  • Disney hotels inside the resort, including the hotels next to Disney Village.
  • Partner hotels along the resort edge and in Val d'Europe.
  • Hotels and apartments in Marne-la-Vallée and the neighbouring towns.
  • Davy Crockett Ranch, which sits apart from the main hotel cluster.

Put the exact hotel name in the booking. A driver working from the right hotel name goes straight to the correct entrance or lobby. If you are staying off-site, give the street address and any gate code. A short note in the booking about step-free access, a car seat, or a pre-order of water on board helps the desk prepare.

Entry to France: carry a passport that meets the rules for your nationality. The EU entry system is in transition, so check the official French and EU pages before you fly for the current requirements on your passport.

Planning the day: arrivals, check-in and the park gates

Hotel check-in times are usually in the afternoon (confirm yours on the reservation), so a morning arrival from North America can leave you in the lobby with luggage and no room. The luggage drop at Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station helps guests of Disney hotels leave their bags and go straight to the parks, and the same logic applies to a car: a driver can take bags to the hotel while you head for the gate.

A rough plan for a typical transatlantic arrival:

  1. Land at CDG; clear immigration and collect bags. Allow 45 to 90 minutes on a busy morning.
  2. Meet the driver in arrivals. Load the car; the driver confirms the hotel with you.
  3. Drive east on the A104 and A4; 35 to 55 minutes in normal traffic.
  4. Hand bags to the bellhop at the hotel; check whether early check-in or luggage storage is offered.
  5. Walk to the parks, or ask your hotel whether it runs a shuttle to the gates.

For the return, build a margin. A reasonable rule is to leave Disney about four hours before a long-haul departure, a little less for a short European flight. The A4 and A104 are the roads most likely to slow you, and a booked pickup lets you set the time against your flight rather than a coach timetable.

From other airports and other directions

Paris has more than one airport, and the Disney run changes with the gateway:

  • From Paris Beauvais, which serves many budget flights, the road is longer. See Beauvais to Paris for the way into the capital, and ask us for the direct run to the resort.
  • From Orly, the south-of-Paris airport, a private transfer to the resort is possible; ask at booking.
  • From central Paris, a pickup at a hotel or a station such as the Gare de Lyon takes the RER away from the equation.
  • From the Paris Disney resort back to CDG, the return leg can be booked together with the arrival, with the pickup time you choose.

Our meet and greet option puts a name board inside arrivals, and the FAQ covers booking basics. Paris is also an easy launchpad for the rest of France; the Europe hub lists the gateways we serve. The full range of airport options is on the airport transfers hub and the transfers hub.

How to book and what the booker shows

You enter the pickup, the drop-off, the date and time, your flight number and the number of passengers and bags. The booker returns the fixed all-in fare for your exact trip and the vehicle class, and you pay after you see it. You receive one confirmation, one invoice and a 24/7 desk contact in Toronto. In France the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local transfer partner, and the Onroutz.ca desk books, confirms, supports and invoices it. Every partner car is within four model years of new, except Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach, allowed up to seven.

Water and phone charging are available in most vehicles. Discretion is standard: no photos of clients, no posts about journeys, NDAs on request.

Cancellation terms are counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Big events and peak resort dates may carry a different deadline, which is printed on the confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Charles de Gaulle from Disneyland Paris?

About 40 km (25 mi) by road, depending on the hotel. The route avoids central Paris and uses the A104 and A4. Normal driving time is 35 to 55 minutes, longer at weekend peaks.

Is there a direct train from CDG to Disneyland Paris?

Yes. A TGV runs from the Terminal 2 station at CDG to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, and Disneyland Paris says the journey takes under 12 minutes. The service follows a timetable and tickets are sold like rail tickets, so confirm the day's departures before relying on it.

How long does a private transfer from CDG to Disneyland Paris take?

Expect 35 to 55 minutes on the road once you are in the car. Add the time to clear immigration and collect bags. Our 60 minutes of free waiting after an international landing is designed to cover that.

How much is a taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris?

Taxi fares to the resort are metered and move with traffic and time of day, so we do not quote a number here. For a booked car the booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay.

Can I bring a stroller and child seats?

Yes. Child seats come in infant, toddler and booster sizes and can be added to the booking. A stroller goes in the luggage space. Tell us the number of seats, the children's ages and the bags in the booking so the desk assigns a vehicle that fits.

What if my flight is late?

Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup, so the driver adjusts to the actual landing time. You receive 60 minutes of free waiting after an international landing, 30 after a domestic one.

Can the driver take me to a hotel outside the resort?

Yes. Disney hotels, partner hotels, Val d'Europe and Marne-la-Vallée addresses are all possible. Enter the hotel name or full address in the booking. For anything unusual, such as a rental house or a group of cottages, add a note.

Can I book the return from Disneyland Paris to CDG at the same time?

Yes. Multi-leg itineraries sit on one booking, with one confirmation and one invoice. Choose the return pickup time against your flight and the traffic on the A4, not against a shuttle timetable.

Does Onroutz.ca own cars in France?

No. In Paris the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local transfer partner. The Toronto desk books, confirms, supports and invoices the trip, so you deal with one company from booking to receipt.
