When is CES 2027, and where does it take place?
CES 2027 runs from Wednesday 6 January to Saturday 9 January 2027 in Las Vegas, with CES Unveiled on Monday 4 January at Mandalay Bay. The show is organized into three campuses: the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the Venetian, and C Space at ARIA, spread over 12 official venues.
CES 2027 will fill Las Vegas for four days, and the real challenge of the week is not the show floor. It is the distance between your appointments. A meeting at 10:00 in the Central Hall and another at 11:00 in the Venetian Expo looks like a ten-minute move on a map. At a convention peak it can take a lot longer.
This guide covers the confirmed dates, how the campuses are organized, what the official transportation guide offers, and how the free shuttles, the monorail, the Vegas Loop and a pre-booked hourly car compare. Dates and transport details are from the CES website as read in October 2026. The floor plans and shuttle timetables are updated as the show nears, so confirm them in December.
The confirmed dates and the campus layout
The CES website gives the show dates as 6 to 9 January 2027 in Las Vegas. Exhibit halls open Wednesday and the show runs through Saturday. CES Unveiled, the media preview, takes place on Monday 4 January 2027 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, in the Shoreline Exhibit Hall, according to its event page. The home page says it gives brands early media access two full days before CES opens.
Lenovo's CES 2027 keynote is scheduled for the Sphere. Hotel booking is open through onPeak, the official housing agent, and registration is open through the site. Free hotel shuttles run Tuesday 5 January through Saturday 9 January, so a Tuesday arrival is practical for badge pickup.
If your week includes a leisure day, our guide to a Grand Canyon day trip from Las Vegas explains why the West Rim fits a free day and the South Rim does not.
Three campuses, twelve venues
The CES maps and locations page groups the 2027 venues into three campuses: the LVCC Campus, the Venetian Campus and the C Space Campus. It says there are 12 official venues in total. Downloadable maps are posted for each campus, and interactive floor plans sit on the exhibitors' site.
Think in campuses, not in hotels. The LVCC holds the largest exhibits. The Venetian Campus includes the Venetian Expo, and the C Space Campus is at ARIA. Moving between campuses is what costs time. Moving within a campus is mostly walking.
Inside the LVCC campus
The official campus page says all four LVCC halls will be in use, with additional exhibits outside in Central Plaza and the Diamond Lot. The page describes South Hall as design and sourcing exhibitors, Central Hall as major brands and smart entertainment technology, North Hall as artificial intelligence, energy, internet of things and smart-city companies, and West Hall as mobility. Check the 2027 floor plan before you book meetings.
Within the LVCC, a free Loop connects West Hall with Central and South Halls, according to the transportation guide. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority adds that trips within the LVCC campus are free and that the underground system is designed to move more than 4,400 attendees per hour on the campus. For walking, signage will direct pedestrian flow and entrances, and the CES app offers blue-dot navigation.
The Venetian Expo and C Space at ARIA
The Venetian Campus is separate from the LVCC and is connected by a dedicated shuttle, covered below. The C Space Campus is at ARIA, and a different shuttle serves it on three days only.
The practical point is that ARIA is the awkward one. It does not sit on the monorail line, and the C Space shuttle runs Wednesday to Friday. If you have an ARIA meeting on Saturday, plan another way to reach it.
The free shuttles and what they cover
The official transportation guide lists these free services:
- Hotel shuttles from select official CES hotels to and from the LVCC and the Venetian Expo, Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 January.
- Tech Express, Route 9, between the LVCC and the Venetian Expo. At the LVCC, board in Central Plaza near the Monorail walkway. At the Venetian, board on Sands Avenue in front of the Venetian Expo.
- C Space Shuttle, Route 7, to ARIA from the LVCC and the Venetian Expo, Wednesday through Friday.
- Media Days shuttles for registered media; the schedule was marked as coming soon.
- Accessible transport during regular shuttle hours, requested at least 30 minutes in advance using the contact details on the page.
The guide's own tip is useful: shuttles or the monorail are often faster than taxis, particularly at closing time, because taxi lines can be long at the end of each day.
Monorail, Loop and hotel shuttle: what each is good for
The Las Vegas Monorail has seven Strip stations, among them Westgate, the LVCC, Harrah's and the LINQ, Flamingo and Caesars Palace, Horseshoe and Paris, and MGM Grand, with Sahara at the north end. Trains arrive every four to eight minutes. Hours are 7 am to midnight on Monday, 7 am to 2 am Tuesday to Thursday, and 7 am to 3 am Friday to Sunday. CES notes it does not serve the Venetian Expo, and CES says discounted monorail passes are sold through registration or your dashboard.
The Vegas Loop lists active stations at the LVCC (South, West, Central, Central Plaza and Riviera), Resorts World, Encore, Westgate, Fontainebleau, Sahara and both airport terminals, with airport to LVCC given as 4.9 miles in about five minutes at US$14, and LVCC to the Strip at US$5, as of 2026. The guide to the show says a ride from the LVCC to Encore, Fontainebleau, Resorts World, Sahara and Westgate costs a small fare, with tickets sold on the Loop site.
Getting between campuses: modes compared
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel shuttle or Tech Express | Scheduled loops; wait varies with demand | Free (Tech Express; hotel shuttles from select hotels) | Day bags | Attendees on the shuttle routes |
| Las Vegas Monorail | Trains every 4 to 8 min; station walks at each end | Fare or CES pass | Small bags | LVCC to Strip hotels on the monorail line |
| Vegas Loop | A few minutes per ride | Ticket priced by the Loop operator | Small bags | LVCC to Resorts World, Encore, Westgate |
| Taxi or rideshare | Usually short; long queues at closing | Metered or surge-priced at peaks | Limited | Off-peak hops |
| Booked hourly car, fixed fare via the booker | Door to door on your schedule | Fixed fare quoted before you pay | Samples, laptops, cases ride with you | Executives with back-to-back meetings across campuses |
The shuttles are free and frequent, but they follow routes. If your ten o'clock is at the Venetian and your eleven o'clock is at ARIA, that is two shuttles and a walk between them. A booked car goes direct, and your driver waits.
Drop-off, pickup and the parking facts
CES's guide is specific about vehicles. There is no public parking at the LVCC or the Venetian Expo. Drop-off at the LVCC is allowed only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances, drivers must stay with their vehicles, and standing or parking is not allowed. Rideshare pickups use designated spots: outside South Hall between the bronze lot and Renaissance, or the Diamond Lot next to West Hall; the main porte-cochere on Sands Avenue for the Venetian Expo; and the lower level of the North Valet Lobby at ARIA.
A good chauffeur company plans the staging for you. For a corporate delegation, the trade-show page on this site explains event transportation planning in general terms, and the CES Las Vegas page is the service page for the week.
Why book hourly cars before January
A show that fills the city produces predictable pressure. Hotels sell out, and rideshare prices rise at peak times, as they do for every large event, while taxi lines lengthen at the end of each day, as CES's own guide acknowledges. A car you have already booked removes the guessing. The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay, so the figure does not change when the queue does.
Book early because supply is finite. An executive car service or a VIP booking for the week is easier to arrange in the autumn than in the first days of January. Our pages on executive car service and VIP transportation describe the formats, and corporate accounts can be invoiced monthly.
Hourly service suits some days and not others. A single transfer between two venues does not need one. A day with five appointments across three campuses does, because the car stays in position for the next leg and the driver knows the drop-off rules.
From the airport and into the Strip
Harry Reid International Airport is close to the Strip and the LVCC. The Loop lists an airport-to-LVCC ride of 4.9 miles in about five minutes, with stations at two airport terminals. If you arrive with cases and a late flight, a car with a flight-tracking driver and a name board is simpler. See our Las Vegas airport to Strip transfer, the Strip hotel page and the airport overview for pickup details. For an event that previously drew heavy transport demand in Nevada, compare notes in our guide to Las Vegas Grand Prix transport.
A sample meeting day
- 8:00 Hotel pickup. Ask the driver to use one of the three LVCC drop-off entrances you know.
- 8:30 South Hall meeting.
- 10:15 Tech Express or booked car to the Venetian Expo.
- 12:30 Lunch, then a keynote or demo.
- 15:00 Car or C Space shuttle to ARIA on a Wednesday to Friday.
- 17:30 Closing time at the LVCC. Meet the driver outside the nominated entrance, not in the taxi line.
- 19:00 Client dinner. Return pickup agreed at booking.
Mistakes that cost meetings
- Assuming the monorail serves the Venetian Expo. It does not.
- Planning an ARIA meeting on Saturday when the C Space shuttle runs Wednesday to Friday.
- Telling a driver to wait at the LVCC entrance. Stopping is allowed only at S2, C5 and West Hall.
- Leaving booking until January.
- Treating the 2026 floor plan as the 2027 plan.
- Taking a taxi at closing time with a 6 pm dinner reservation.

Frequently asked questions
What are the dates of CES 2027?
6 to 9 January 2027 in Las Vegas, Wednesday to Saturday. CES Unveiled takes place on Monday 4 January 2027. Free hotel shuttles run from Tuesday 5 January through Saturday 9 January.
Where is CES 2027 held?
Across three campuses: the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian (including the Venetian Expo) and C Space at ARIA. The official site counts 12 official venues in total. Check the campus maps before you finalize meetings.
How do I get between the LVCC and the Venetian Expo?
The free Tech Express, Route 9, runs between them. Board in Central Plaza near the Monorail walkway at the LVCC and on Sands Avenue in front of the Venetian Expo. A taxi, rideshare or booked car also works.
Does the monorail go to the Venetian?
CES's guide says it does not serve the Venetian Expo. It connects the LVCC and Westgate to Strip hotels such as Harrah's and the LINQ, Flamingo, Horseshoe and Paris, MGM Grand and Sahara.
Can I get dropped off at the Convention Center?
Yes, but only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances, per CES. Drivers must stay with their vehicles, and standing or parking is not allowed. There is no public parking at the LVCC or the Venetian Expo.
Is a private car worth it during CES?
When you have several appointments on different campuses, carry demo equipment or entertain clients, yes. For a hotel-to-LVCC commute alone, the shuttles and monorail are often faster. Enter your Las Vegas pickup and drop-off and the booker returns a fixed CES-week fare before any payment.
Should I book an hourly car before January?
Yes. Supply is finite and demand concentrates in a few days. Booking in the autumn lets you set pickup points, meeting times and drop-off entrances in advance, and the fare stays fixed.
